National Farmers Market Week 2024 | July 30, 2024

Fresh & Local:

National Farmers Market Week 2024

Join CCFM and hundreds of markets across the country as we kick off National Farmers Market Week 2024 this Sunday, August 4th.

CCFM is #MoreThanAMarket. Behind the scenes of every successful farmers market is a community working to make the market thrive. With the help of our vendors, visitors, and community partners, CCFM provides delicious local food, fosters community connectivity, and represents the resilience of the Greater New Orleans area. To help us celebrate everything–and everyone–that makes our markets great, join us for a week full of community, connectivity, and of course FOOD! Each of our Crescent City Farmers Market locations will feature a variety of activities for the whole family as a thank you to all that are connected to CCFM.

Below is a sneak peek of what's in store, in addition to all your favorite vendors and community partners. Follow along on Instagram and Facebook as we announce more details on all the planned activities.

Meet the Staff: Francesca, Market Manager

Farmers markets don’t just happen! In the spirit of National Farmers Market Week, meet Francesca - the CCFM Market Manager who you can find at each market working tirelessly to ensure that the day runs smoothly. From popping up tents to supporting vendors, there’s nothing Francesca can’t do. Visit Staff to learn more about Francesca and the rest of the team!

Francesca’s favorite season is the sweet, sweet few months of overlap between citrus season and strawberry season - typically November through January. Francesca's current favorite market treat is a Vietnamese Coffee Snoball from The Snoball Lady featuring Applied Arts Coffee.

Community Partners at the Market

The Farmers Market Week lineup for community partners includes the New Orleans Food Policy Action Council, Tulane Learning & Brain Development Lab, Friends of the Lafitte Greenway, and many more. Do you run an organization or know one that may be interested in tabling at one of the markets? Visit Partners at the Market to learn more about eligibility requirements and how to apply!
