Groove all night with Mark-Anthony Thomas, a multi-genre vocalist and music educator who performs in jazz and R&B venues across New Orleans, including backup vocals with GRAMMY-nominated Tank and the Bangas! Moonlight Market is Market Umbrella’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Your support helps the Crescent City Farmers Market and its food access programs grow, improving health and strengthening community across the region. Tickets are available now through the end of the day on Wednesday for $60. Day of ticket prices increase to $75 at midnight on Thursday, November 14th with online sales closing at noon. Greaux the Good: Year 2 Program ReportThe numbers are in! Greaux the Good’s Year 2 Program Report is now available, showcasing a year of remarkable growth and impact. Operated by Market Umbrella, Greaux the Good is Louisiana’s statewide nutrition incentive program, benefiting farmers, families, and the economy. In Year 2, the program reached 56 parishes (87.5% of the state), served over 1,800 new customers, and generated an economic impact of $522,071! Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) 2024 Season Ending SoonDo you have FMNP dollars to spend? This year’s round of Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) benefits expire November 30th, so now’s the time to get out to the market and use them. The last Crescent City Farmers Market before the end of the month will be Tuesday, November 26th at the Uptown Market. Once all FMNP benefits have been spent using the FMNP benefits card, Market Umbrella will match Senior and WIC FMNP food benefits with $30 in tokens issued at the welcome tent. Citrus season is here and greens are back! Satsumas, Meyer lemons, navels and LA sweets plus turnips, radishes, collards, mustards and kale are all making their return to our markets. Just look for the yellow sign at any FMNP certified produce vendor! |

Vendor of the Week:Paella NOLAPaella NOLA fills the air at our Thursday Mid-City market with the mouth-watering aroma of paella, a classic yet versatile saffron rice dish originating from Spain. Paella NOLA prepares this dish on-site, bringing a Louisiana twist to paella by using fresh Gulf seafood, locally-made sausage, a hand-ground spice mix, and many other regional ingredients. Jacob and his cousin Nate began Paella NOLA in 2018, and they joined CCFM as a Green Plate Special vendor in 2019. Now, Nate brings their delicious cooking to the Thursday and occasionally the Sunday Market! When not at market, Paella NOLA serves paella at festivals and private events.
