Have a Gourd Time at Fall Harvest Fest!

Harvest time is a special time of year, with the arrival of fall crops like leafy greens, citrus and the beginning of root vegetables and broccoli. Join us for Fall Harvest Fest in partnership with the French Market on Saturday, November 5 from 11 am - 4 pm at 1100 N Peters Street!

The festival will feature CCFM vendors selling fresh produce, local seafood and meats, prepared food, and more! There will also be activities for kids, cooking demonstrations by talented chefs, and live music! Bands playing include NPS Arrowhead Jazz Band, the Steve Anderson Group, the Johnny Sansone Trio, and Gal Holiday & the Honky Tonk Revue. It’s sure to be a delicious and abundant gathering. If you’re interested in volunteering to help set up and pack up the event, sign up here. The Fall Harvest Fest is free and open to the public––we hope to see you there!

Thursday Market Winter Hours

On Sunday, November 6, the clocks will fall back an hour with the end of Daylight Savings. Beginning on November 10, the Thursday market will change to winter hours of 3-6 pm due to the loss of an hour of light. We’ll return to the 3-7 pm schedule in March when Daylight Savings starts again and the days are longer!

Re:Borne Bakery

Welcome Re:Borne Bakery! Born out of a global pandemic in the home kitchen of Robin Bordelon Borne, Robin makes all of her baked goods from scratch, by hand, and with love. Everything offered at Robin’s table is grain and gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free. Robin’s "clean" cooking journey started when her son was diagnosed with food allergies at an early age. Robin offers a somewhat rustic, unrefined aesthetic to her treats and embraces the little imperfections. After all, life can be messy—but it still tastes good! Come find Robin and her delicious, clean treats at the Tuesday Uptown market weekly! Oh, and keep an eye out for your favorite seasonal treats—we’re talking Butternut Squash soup and Pumpkin Pie!
