Market Umbrella is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3), based in New Orleans, whose mission is to cultivate the power of farmers markets to drive economic and community health in the region. Market Umbrella has operated the Crescent City Farmers Markets (CCFM) since 1995.

Nolamama Eats
Everyone give a warm welcome to one of our newest vendors to join the Tuesday Uptown Lineup! Amber is a long-time New Orleans transplant from Maryland, passionate home cook, and big fan of vegetable-forward food that’s both accessible and delicious. Amber started Nolamama Eats as a way to share seasonal meal ideas inspired by the weekly produce box from the now closed Hollygrove Market.
These days, she is proud to bring quiches and soups to the Crescent City Farmers Market on Tuesdays, made with eggs and dairy, fresh produce from fellow vendors, and herbs from her own garden when available.
When Amber’s not cooking, you’ll find her making jewelry, hanging with her kids, her partner Joaquin, and their pup Zelda or dreaming up their next adventure.
About Us
The Crescent City Farmers Market operates weekly year-round throughout New Orleans. The CCFM hosts 70+ local small farmers, fishers, and food producers, and more than 150,000 shoppers annually.
