Jim Mizell is a familiar face at the Tuesday Uptown market, and has been for many years. You’ve certainly seen his colorful and abundant tables as you enter the market, and if you’re lucky, you’ve also collected some of his plants and gardening expertise for yourself. Now, you can also expect to find Jim at our Wednesday Ochsner market. It’s not too late to get your garden planted for the spring and summer seasons, especially if you’re opting for plant starts over seeds. Stop by soon and get to growing your own food - that’s as local as it gets!
